The tourism experts – Link between client, guide and tourist

Born and raised in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, my commitment to work in the tourism sector already started when I was studying business administration and tourism management.
While building religious tours through Germany and neighboring countries, I got to know the needs of the guests I was working for at the beginning of my professional career and recognized the need for personal support geared to the guests at a very early stage.
River cruise tourism intensified on the Elbe, since here I was entrusted with planning day trips to differently structured destinations along the river and in charge of my first guide pool.

In 2005 I moved to Regensburg for my love. Here I found my second home and soon established my own company. I was deeply impressed by the tradition-conscious life in Bavaria, as well as the beauty of nature and architecture. I was sure that I could awaken the same enthusiasm for the unique cities along the Danube in guests from home and abroad.
And so I began to find tour guides and organized other services to offer to the clientele of river cruises, primarily in Regensburg, then in other cities such as Bamberg, Nuremberg and finally Passau. My goal was to bundle great and innovative packages and to be able to successfully provide them with the greatest flexibility and customer orientation.

After my apprenticeship as a restaurant specialist in Bayreuth and Cologne, I worked in the hotel industry for several years and went through various positions. After five years in the hotel industry, I got my diploma in hotel management. This was followed by another five years in hotel sales for various private hotels in southern Germany.
In 1997 I ventured into establishing my own company ARS Incoming.
After ten years working in the hotel industry and more than 20 years in tourism working independently, I can look back on a great wealth of experience, which benefits our customers.

Various events such as the Oberammergau Festival 2010 and 2023 and Luther Year 2017 are just a few of our larger successful projects in which we serve numerous customers and have been able to win new clients.

We know exactly what we offer our customers
We look at our work in depth. When we develop a project for our customers, we know the destinations, we know the locations and we have our own guides or partners on site, who we have sworn in on our creed: “Get to the bottom of things”, to be sensitive and show tact.
Being a tourism expert means more than just knowing every corner of your desk, exploring locations exclusively by phone and generating tourist offers sitting in front of the screen. A tourism expert is always right in the middle of the action.

Our team consists of flexible & experienced project managers and impresses with many years of expertise in the hotel and incoming industry as well as in ground operations for international river cruise lines on all German rivers.
